Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 May 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Gyema, a peer-to-peer delivery coordination service operated by Pi Logistics LTD ("we", "us", or "Gyema"). By using Gyema, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Gyema.

These Terms describe Gyema as it works today (Version 1). When we add new features, we will update these Terms and notify users.

1What Gyema is and is not

Gyema is a coordination platform. It helps Pi Network Pioneers travelling between cities ("Travellers") connect with Pi Network Pioneers who need a package delivered ("Senders").

Gyema:

Gyema is not a courier company, freight forwarder, logistics operator, payment processor, escrow agent, employer of Travellers, or insurer. Any agreement to carry, deliver, accept, or pay for a package is a private arrangement between the Sender and the Traveller directly. Gyema is not a party to that arrangement.

2Eligibility

To use Gyema you must:

If you do not meet all of these requirements, you may not use Gyema.

3Your account and identity

You sign in to Gyema using your Pi Network identity. You are responsible for the security of your Pi account. Anyone who can access your Pi account can access your Gyema activity. You agree that information you publish through Gyema (your Pi username and the WhatsApp number you provide on a listing) will be visible to other Gyema users.

4Prohibited items

You agree not to use Gyema to send, request the delivery of, or carry any of the following:

Travellers are entitled — and encouraged — to inspect any package before agreeing to carry it, and to refuse delivery for any reason. Any user who posts or attempts to send a prohibited item may have their listings removed and their access to Gyema terminated without notice.

5How payment works in V1

In Version 1, Gyema does not handle payments. The price or offer shown on a listing is between the Sender and the Traveller. They agree directly how and when payment is made (whether in Pi, mobile money, cash, or any other method they choose) and are solely responsible for honouring that agreement.

An on-platform escrow system using Pi Network is planned for a future version. When it is introduced, these Terms will be updated.

6Risks you accept by using Gyema

Using a peer-to-peer delivery service involves real risks. By using Gyema you acknowledge and accept that:

7Acceptable use

You agree to use Gyema lawfully and in good faith. In particular, you agree not to:

8Disclaimer of warranties

Gyema is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gyema and Pi Logistics LTD make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including (without limitation) warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, uptime, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that Gyema will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any defect will be corrected.

9Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Ghanaian law, neither Pi Logistics LTD nor any of its directors, employees, agents, or affiliates shall be liable to any user for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with the use of Gyema, including (without limitation) loss of, damage to, or non-delivery of any package, loss of payment between users, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or any dispute between users.

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to Gyema is limited to the equivalent of GHS 100 (one hundred Ghana cedis).

10Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pi Logistics LTD, its directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of Gyema, your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law, or any agreement or dispute between you and another Gyema user.

11Termination

You may stop using Gyema at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to Gyema, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, attempted to send or carry a prohibited item, or engaged in fraudulent or harmful behaviour.

Upon termination, listings you have posted may remain visible until they expire or are removed. You can request deletion as described in our Privacy Policy.

12Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how it is used. By using Gyema, you also accept the Privacy Policy.

13Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Gyema evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version. Material changes will be communicated via the app. Continuing to use Gyema after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

14Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of Gyema shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
